Frequently Asked Questions
When is it?
Tinytown Morning Services:
Sunday at 9:00a.m. & 10:45a.m
What does my little one need to bring to the nursery?
A bottle or sippy cup, a change of clothes, diapers, pacifier and if they have a “lovey”, you’re encouraged to leave that also.
I’m nursing, am I still able to leave my little one in the nursery?
Certainly! We encourage you to sign them into the age-appropriate Nursery (so you can enjoy the service). When signing them in, please tell us that they nurse and may become hungry during the service. If they become fussy, we will alert you using their security number right away.
My two year old is potty training. Will you take them to the potty?
Yes, we certainly will. But, we ask that you take them potty prior to signing them into their room.
What are your Well-Child Policy?
To ensure a healthy environment in the Nursery, we ask that you keep your child with you if they are not feeling well, have had a fever within the last 24 hours, or if they have a rash of any kind. (The only exception would be if you have received a confirmed medical diagnosis that is a rash related to skin allergies.)
Will my little one get sick in the nursery?
We hope not! We do EVERYTHING we can to insure that our toys are clean and sanitized.
What is your Safety & Security Procedures?
In order to provide for the ultimate security of your child while in our care, we follow a strict security policy.
*All of our Tinytown Nursery volunteers and staff have been through volunteer training and have been background checked.
*Parents may check their kids in Tinytown Nursery beginning 15 minutes prior to service starting. They will do this using our “Secure Check-in” computer system.
*When you check your child in, you and your child will be given matching security codes. When the service is over, you must present your security code to receive your child. Children are not permitted to leave Tinytown Nursery without the proper adult and security code.
*If your child needs you during the service, we will put your security code on the screen in the main service.
*20 minutes after each service begins, the children’s area is secured and only parents with security tags are allowed to access the area by seeing a safety team member.
*In the unlikely occurrence the building needs evacuated, all parents will be directed to the east driveway parking lot where you may pick up your child with the approval of the leader.
